Project Aim

The project aims to modernize heritage education by integrating digital documentation technologies into existing curricula.

Project Objectives

Enhance Digital Skills in Heritage Documentation

Provide students, educators, and professionals with practical training in photogrammetry, and 3D scanning. Create open-access digital learning resources, ensuring broad accessibility.

Develop High-Quality, Standardized Training Modules

Establish a structured curriculum aligned with European standards and ECTS. Offer certification for adult learners

Promote Open-Access and Inclusive Learning

Provide multilingual learning materials, making courses accessible across Europe. Engage citizens, local communities, and heritage enthusiasts through participatory digital heritage projects.

Strengthening Institutional Capacity and European Collaboration

Establish a European network for digital heritage education. Promote knowledge exchange between academia and stakeholders. Integrate project outputs into long-term university curricula, ensuring sustainability.

Activities

The project will implement curriculum development, hands-on training, and international collaboration. Key activities are reviewing existing courses, developing a model curriculum, organizing 3 international workshops, field training, and interdisciplinary student exchanges. Additionally, it will facilitate internships, mobility programs, online learning modules, and research collaborations to enhance digital documentation skills and industry-academic cooperation aligning with EU directives.

Impact

The project will produce a digital heritage curriculum, training materials, and online learning resources available on an open-access platform. It will result in skilled students and educators, international collaborations, and industry-academic partnerships. Outcomes include field training, research publications, mobility programs, and policy recommendations. The project will foster digital transformation, employability, and long-term impact on heritage documentation and conservation.
